if you go to your Desktop tab on the display properties you will see all
the screens connected, you can arrange them as you like.
for a test you can take a regular old PCI card an plug it in the computer,
works for me.
If you want more manageability you better use all cards from nVidia or ATI
since it's a bit easier to configure but it will work with card you have.
P.S some very old cards are not supported in windows for multimon, but most
of them are, i used an 8MB AGP from ATI and a very old 2MB PCI also from
ATI, or a TNT ( 4MB) from asus

*gasp* NINE!? Sheesh... better get some bigger PC cases ;)
since I've never played with multiple video cards, how does one select
what is shown on each card?
