Mish, part of the problem is that due to their govt. contracts, they can't
charge us any less than they charge their Govt. customers.

Building the bezel from aluminum will make it REALLY hard to edge-light.
Aluminum doesn't pass light very well. *grin*  I would suggest you'd use a
laminated assembly of 1/4" and 1/8 acrylic.  You can use the same milling
methods and the raw material will be a LOT cheaper.

BTW, I finally found the knob and button cap for my MPCD display.  $120.
I'm glad I don't need the switch as well.  It's $1300.00
