On the boeing products - it is in the handle it self.
But - I think you are doing a F-16 - so I do not know.

The light comes on any the gear is not in the postion that the gear =
handle is in.
In other words - when you put the gear handle up - the red light =
comes on till the gear is up.
Same thing when you put the gear handle down.
