Did you ever get those dimensions?
A buddy of mine is also building a 109 pit.  He was pointed to a book in an
email from somewhere/someone (I can't remember where/who).
Taken from that email:
    "Are aware that there is a book on Luftwaffe cockpit interiors currently
available?"
That is the only info I have on it.  Figured it might help point you in the
right direction.
Also,  Did you find out more about the "company that makes a set for a
throttle, prop mix, and fuel mix for wwII era fighters"?  I'd be interested
in a link or information.
