Finally for once, someone at TM had the forethought to see that we would
tinker with things and might need to do something like this.

Jay, I didn't know that. Makes it a lot easier. Thrustmaster is
thinking.

You can do this by changing the axis using the cougar setup software
(not Foxy). I had to do this for one of the axis when I replaced the
pots with Hall sensors.

HI Chris, I finally got out to measure the throttle. I'll upload the
drawing I made of the dimensions. If you need anything else let me know.

Also, if you make a pivet arm from the underside of the throttle and
attach it to the arm of the cougar then you can use the same electronics
and the movement will transfer. All you need to do then is remove the
grip and move to the homemade throttle arm. You will also have to turn
the cougar backwards. (forward is back, back is forward) then you move
the throttle arm.

Hope this helps

Hey Ken Schlote,

I saw the pictures of you leftside_rails.jpg on the members upload and
was
wondering if you could provide 2 dimensions from it?

The first is the diameter of the circular gear at the base of throttle
and
the second is a chord of that circle just above the instrument panel
where
the gear is positioned?

Attached is small photo to help illustrate what I am talking about.
