Hi, James and all, I think forums or a newsgroup would be great, I think
some folks don't set up filters to file simpits messages to their own
folder, hence they have to wade thrue them a sort them from personal and
business email. That is probably why frustrations raise on the list when
traffic spikes, Gene had a forum up and running at one time, it might still
be on the website, the email doesn't bother me as I have filters to file the
tech and chat list separately, I would vote for a newsgroup over a forum for
the speed and I personally would rather use a good newsreader to read
messages versus a web browser, the browser seems so slow on forums, With
usenet, if Gene set the messages to never expire it would be a great archive
and searchable thrue a good newsreader, and there could be a picture group
too, for all to post to, that would alleviate having to log into the website
to look at new uploadsOn another note, as others have said, it is a
community as well as builders list, when participation spikes, we shouldn't
get to bent up about it.
