[simpits-tech] Panel making??

Those are going to be _really_ thick panels. :) You might be better off
using a 3/16" base and a 1/16" top cover if you're going that route. Are
you mounting the switches in the plastic, or in a metal backplate?
Either way, roughing up the surface will help the paint adhere. AFAIK,
any good acrylic paint will work. I'd use a "dullcoat" paint to protect
the panel - it's basically flat clear.
