Oh, and as an aside...damn you to hell <err, well not really but..> Since 
looking at the pics of your wee project I've gotten a bug for the whole 
early jet era.... I now want to build a Vampire T.55!  I have been helping 
the local Air Force museum with their single seater, and have really gotten 
the bug (of course being given CFS3 and flying the vampire didn't help either!)
