Boy, what a mess I started...

Attached is another thought.  Please view this diagram as a schematic 
concept only, not as mechanically representative.  The thought is that 
the spring provides the increasing load proportional to stick 
displacement (and for moving the stick to center).  The servo (or other 
method) moves the pivot point of the lever that reduces mechanical 
advantage to the stick as airspeed increases (thereby varying required 
force on the stick proportionate to airspeed).  The trim wheel turns a 
jackscrew which displaces the entire load mechanism (and therefore the 
stick position).
