as regard to the Atmel - why not use phidgets ? they are cheep and run
servo's and steppers, and are probably a lot easier to program.
regarding the pics : go here http://www.xflight.de/f16/ open the real \
documents part and print the layout ( if i remember correctly at 103% -
you'll have to check with the others)

I am developing affordable working gauges for my F-16 (falcon4) simpit. It
is not EPIC based. The first proto should be working in about a month.
This will be a project where I will make all info available to the simpit
community. This project will not ever go commercial. I now need help with
the PC side software.
The areas where I can use some help are:
- Delphi and Shared memory
- Atmel 20 pin '51 controllers ASM programming
- Any developers and tinkers that believe they can help is welcome.
Are there anyone out there that will be willing to help?
Watch this space for info on my web site - when it is ready - it will be
part of the SimPits Webring.
Anyone out there with high resolution scans and/or accurate measurements
of F16 instrument faces? Out here on the far tip of Africa we cannot realy
afford to import the real thing. I do believe a lot of other simmers have
the same problem.
Good simming to all fellow simmers out there.
