Roy,

Why not break each powerbus after the PDU with a switch, or perhaps a
removeable fuse - that way, you can later install  the fuse when you
need the powerbus and keep it all together and use the original
design...

Because I don't want to apply power for maybe the cabin lighting, and
have
something like the avionics essential bus go live too.

We need power for the trivial items like lighting, PA, etc but all the
avionics are dead - replaced by sim stuff.

I guess I need to disable the inverters too ;)
