ok, I'm ecstatic!!!!  Turns out the TLB that I got from you was generated with v1.3.0 of the Phidget type library.  I saw the code comments and snagged a copy of the tool you used to generate the TLB export and re-generated a new one only to find that the version of TLB I have is 1.3.1.  Re-generating it did the trick.  It's working perfectly now.  Man it's sweet to see the landing gear lever that I built actually working!!!!

Thanks everyone for all the support...notably, a few that provided details on the *real* operation of a B737 LG lever and Gene/Roy for you help on the Phidgets.

Feel like a kid again tonight :-)

I installed the component, however I found that it complained that PhidgetEvents.pas was referencing PhidgetsLib (which isn't present)... In order to get it to compile, I had to uncomment the Phidget_TLB.pas, see excert below from PhidgetEvents.pas

  Windows, ActiveX, Classes, ComObj, OleCtrls
  //SinkUses//
  , StdVCL
  , PHIDGET_TLB
  //, PhidgetLib
  ;

So, now the project comes up running and sees my board connected.  It is rec'v events on input change, however when I try to toggle an output I get an OLE error.  Haven't changed anything else.  Wondering if you had hit the same issue and that's what the PhidgetLib fixed???
