[simpits-tech] Help needed

Oy... Ok, so here's the real question: What's the impedence look like on the 
mic, any idea? Closer to say, an aircraft mic, or a computer mic? This guy 
is willing to ship me this headset and give it a shot, I think I can pull it 
off, but I've never dealt with this style headset before.

It's monaural I bet.  One ground, one line for mic, one line for
speaker(s)
