I would like to retrieve my user name and pass word. I will kick my self off 
the discusion group.
I will not be told to be quite when people can't open a history book and 
read, nor take the time to judge a man not of his personality, but his 
group. People who do this are pea whits.
I am proud that I am serving in the armed forces of america. but I do often 
wonder if I am willing to sacrifice my life for the wrong ideas, or the 
wrong people. Like the old war saying goes: "I don't love the people that i 
guard, I don't hate the people I fight."
It seems to me that the american people in particular are unwilling to take 
a man for his group, instead of his personality. I'm not going to go into 
details of what I think is wrong with america. This would take a whole book.
With all that said, I will not belong to a group of egotistical self 
centered americans who are unwilling to get over history. It's like all 
those red necks that wave the confederate flag, and say "the south shall 
rise again". ever read the bumber stickers, or heard the expression: get 
over it.
Before you go accusing every german of being a nazi, maybe you should get to 
know people that are german, and that lived during that dark age. You might 
find that most of them didn't care for the regime, or the politics, but they 
were just doing their duty. Like any other military man in the world.
I also urge not only to pass judgement on germans before you don't know any 
one, but this goes for any one. Middle eastern, french, asian, or what ever.
if you do this, you might find that people will not hate the US so much.
