[simpits-tech] Headset Adapters

Chock-full of good ideas today, aren't we, Gene? Heheh. I do know that if
you have a mono headset its a bad idea to use this without putting it
through a mono-to-stereo adapter first. I'm thinking of offering a version
with a mono rather than a stereo plug, but it'll be a couple of bucks extra,
as I don't plan on keeping those parts on hand (unless a lot of people want
them!)

At any rate, it sounds like I've got a good enough response to go ahead. I
wont be able to order the parts for a week or two, but once I have them it
shouldn't take long to build them.

Brian

You might want to test a few different headsets with the adapter box when
you're done building it. I bet the local FBO might let you test with a
couple of their loaner headsets. You can use a pocket tape recorder to
test the mic input and the speaker output.
