I wish I could have the time to make them all fly. There is a fellow in
Kansas who runs the 707sim site who also has a F-4, but his is a sim to
begin with...and he is making it to fly again!
I hope to see it when he brings it to DFW to have the hyrdalics updated.
and yes bakelite has a nice odd airplaneish smell to it.
I took the F-111F to my work place via truck the other day and the Thermal
Radiation Curtains got hot sitting in the sun and started out-gassing and
its an almost noxious yet lovely smell.
I loathe the sun touching the cockpit though...sun does nasty things with
UV/IR./and heat!
