Hi,
i'm not quite sure of the wording of the question, but, i'll try.
turn it 3 clicks to the right, encoder sends 3 pulses to a line on the
hagstrom/epic equivalent to 3 openings/closings. it's like flipping a
switch up AND down 3 times.
turn it to the left, and a pulse is sent to another hagstrom/epic line
(with the same rules).
the encoders are "hex" types, as opposed to the more expensive optical
devices. they are a perfect match for the PIC processor, keep the cost
down, and have an excellent feel.
