What about it?  It's a Canada Marconi A7 HUD.  I'm using a 5" green
monochrome VGA CRT ($350 from Cockpit Simulations, Inc) to drive it.  I
had it cranked up last weekend after I wired up the VGA & power cable to
the CRT.  It was pretty cool to look at.

There are some modifications that have to be made to it before I do the
mate the CRT to the optics chamber.  Since Matt W. is using the same HUD I
am, he was nice enough to give me pics of what he'd done to his.

There will be focus problems of course, since this is a real HUD and is
"tuned" to focus about 300 feet ahead of the airplane.  I don't expect
huge problems though.
