Took time out from flying tonight f4 tonight. after talking to the first =
crew chief I know.
Found out there's more than one ac duct in the 16. there is one behind =
the seat like a defogger in a car.
AC controls not only cockpit enviorment but also cooling for all =
avionics, include the radar computers, INS GPS computers and every other =
box in the jet.
In RAM mode, it uses external air source for cooling like martin said. =
The air intake is just above the big air intake underneath the cockpit =
the crew chief said.
