[simpits-tech] New Guy here! and 747 sim

Sebastian

There is no right way of doing this, some folks have used plywood others
have used foam coated with fiberglass others have used sheet metal some have
done it with cardboard. The best way to approach a problem like this is to
examine your resources, money and materials and go from there. As you are
going to be building a 747 take a look around the internet and among the
Simpits membership and find others who have built a 747 establish a rapport
with them and seek their advice. I am certain that you will hear stories
which will bring fear to your heart and stories which will make your heart
beat faster in anticipation of your own 747. I am looking forward to hearing
from the 747 crowd which seems to be ironically quiet lately.

As for anyone being angry with you, slap 'em with a fish and wake 'em up,
they have rather thick skin and they don't get abused often enough. The
slackers probably have their heads buried in about 500 miles of wire about
now and they need to come up for air.

Keep 'em flying
Rob Hommel
