Gene,
I know its not really a source, but I got a hold of two Compaq LTE
lite's for my MFD's. 
They are only 486 PC's but do run Win95 OK. You can network them with
either a PCMCIA card or parallel to ethernet adapter. 
The screens are almost perfect size for MFDs, but they are 256 color
640x480 only. 
I was given my two for free. There are most likely other notebooks
around that would do th job with perhaps a little more power, say a P120
or even a P2-266 that would have equally as good size screen.

Besides eBay, does anyone here have an inexpensive source for LCD panels
that have a max-res of 800x600?  I need two.
