HI Rob,

I know the feeling of awe and wonder at touching feeling smelling a real
cockpit. My F-111F Crew Escape Module ( one of three I have) ejected in 1993
in New Mexico. Before that it had almost 20 years of service all round the
world, ending up in the gulf back in 91. Its been in combat, its been scary
places and its saved two mens life. All that comes to you when you sit in
it....its good inspiration!

As for the ADI (etc) movements, I am not sure of any other methods than what
Matt has done. I gave him seveal Air Data Computers from which he has
harvested a bunch of D to A converters ( they look like little chrome
biscuits) and we are constantly looking for more. My cockpit is going to
suck up a bunch of them due it its intense set of instrumentation. Right now
I am running 115 400hz single phase, 28v and 5v plus 110 in my cockpit. I
have no choice, but it sounds wicked!
Most of the mechanical gaugues ( ADI,HSI,Veritcal tapes, Lead Computing
Optical sight, stanby instruments, engine instruments, warning lights, flood
lights, all edge lighting is functional. I can manually drive the
instruments in demo, but they are not yet hooked to Epic. That will require
another Matt Visit ( and some beer ; )
If any miricles to operating ADIs with out those modules comes up Ill be the
first one to post it here!

Thanks,

Chris Woodul
