The side to side width of the consoles is 20.5", but it actually gets a
little wider under the front console for the rudders I think.

I have an old set of interior panels for the F-16 that mount to the left and
right AUX consoles and they add about 0.75" on each side (total of about
1.5" wider) of extra room.  I don't know exactly which model they come from,
but I believe it is an A model since they were bolted to a set of A AUX
consoles when I got them.
