Though this is a very generic pit with more thought to ease of use and
ease in ingress/egress than realism - I think I'd like to built a proper
replica pit.  Much more challenging and interesting.

However, we've got the entire contents of a Ratheon 125 jet here, just
begging to be made into a mega-pit. The electronics students have been
converting instruments over the last few years to work via PC interfaces
and the guy in charge is well impressed with both XP and the pit I'm
building.  Who knows.. maybe I can twist his arm?  :)
