Don't worry, hooking up the controls is on the cards, to test a few ideas I
have.

Of course, the more likely outcome is that I never proceed past the test
pit.......;)

You should really get the flight controls hooked up - that way you can use
THAT as the test bed for stuff you're working on. :)
