Hey my fellow pitters....


Just made a fancy discovery..... Well some of you probably know this
already....

To drive small Character LCD displays you can easily use a Generic
network printer server with a parallel interface.... it appears that a
tcp port is established for the par port on the server, and you can
easily write to this port with telnet and the bytes you type in the
telnet window will is stamped directly on the par port. (jesses what a
line)

the port number are 4010 (4020, 4030 are also available as logical
ports, and have nothing to do with the number of ports on the server)
