frank, check out simpit's ftp-server: ftp.simpits.org (use 
anonymous/<your emailaddress> to login)
in /pub/ACES_II there are a _lot_ of photos pogo made of his seat.
(beware, it's a 5MB .zip file!)

and on www.simpits.org you can find chris van lierop's very excellent 
"How to build your own ACES-II" udner "Designs/Drafting".

I used this material, and I think my seat doesn't look _that_ bad ;).
