stick mod link.  He explains it better than I can and you can email him
if you want more info or are interested in having the mod done.  You
have to send your parts to Australia, but he is damn fast and my stick
was back much, much sooner than expected.

The mod was done to remove all play and it does remove all play.  With
the roller bearings, very smooth feel and the Hall sensors are
fantastic. Very fluid flight, very response and absolutely no spiking
whatsoever.

Interesting.  It looks like someone added a metal block to the gimbal.
Was
that done to improve the "feel" of the stick?  Looks like aluminum and
brass.  Wouldn't there be wear between the parts?  Can you tell me more?

The keyboard is very cool, too.
