The module I'm using is called hosts_access is it's great (once you turn
the damn thing on!).  It tells apache to read your hosts.deny and
hosts.allow files.  The link is http://www.klomp.org/mod_hosts_access/

I've cut off the whole Class C block, so that bastard isn't going to get a
damn thing out of that server. :)
