Went to Walmart, bought package of adapters that happened to include the
1/4" to 1/8" stereo adapter. Got it home, headset plugged right in, but
the thing was too big to fit into the recessed jack on the speaker.
Damn, now wha... oh yeah, the lathe :)

Works great now, but it's a bit odd to be able to hear the computer
clearly, but nothing else in the room. This headset has some kind of
noise cancellation system so NOTHING outside the headset gets in. My
wife bought me these 5 years ago for Valentines Day with orders to never
find out how much she paid. Unfortunately for her I found out tonight.
Ouch. No wonder there was no beer in the house for a month ;)

Now to fire up the sim and see how they work with it.
