Mine plugged into standard 1/4" no problem... *shrug* Guess it's worth a 
shot, KISS, right? :)

Careful - it may LOOK like a regular 1/4" plug, but most aviation sets use
a plug which is just a tad smaller, and they are damned expensive! I think
the UK price was about 15UKP each (plus tax).
