[simpits-tech] Epiclink Problems.. WAS: Correct list for Epic?

Hi Marc,

Well, I have upgraded to 2.85 of FSUPIC, and done the packet capture, it
showed two way communication taking place between the Epic machine and
the FS2k2 machine. Still no change to the problem though.

I have added all the files that may be of use, including the file from
ethereal, into a zip file, which can be obtained from
http://aelfhame.net/~stuartw/epic_logs1.zip.

Included in this zip is the EPL code I am using, very small and simple.

Be aware that in this zip file the packet capture and the epicinfo logs
are not for the same time period. :)

I have a few questions I hope you might be able to answer for me:

1. With EpicLink running and connected, when I look in game controllers
on my FS2k2 machine should all the joysticks show OK or Unconnected?
They show OK on the Epic machine, but unconnected the FS2k2 machine.

2. Do I need to do anything on the FS2k2 machine apart from start
EpicClient? I do not need to load an epl file into epic client do I?
Just into the epic card running epicserver?

3. Do I need to do anything special in my EPL code to use epiclink?

Cheers!
Stuart.
