Yes.  It's the only way I can use it.

Right now I've got both Comcast and DSL internet service.  I use the 
Comcast service for the "house" Internet and the DSL for the services that 
I run.

By going to straight cable, I'll be consolidating down to a single source 
and in the end will save me about $20 per month.  I may even be able to 
turn off a machine which will save some on the power bill too.
