Opendawn.com is a communication consultancy. It's my company. It's
being established because I have reached a certain stage with
development of a mobile secure email platform that will be released
later this month in partnership with the American firm Everyone.net.

OpenGEM 6 is not really less community driven than previous releases of
OpenGEM, it's just that we have a less ambitious target :) It's more of
a fix and update of OpenGEM 5, rather than an introduction of new
features. It's a 'freeze and improve' situation.

Opendawn.com will manage the next releases of OpenGEM. There is now
commercial interest in GEM from more than one direction, and
Opendawn.com will work to make sure that the OpenGEM distribution is (a)
free and (b) a great choice for FreeDOS/anyDOS users.

OpenGEM is does not offer any direct avenue for profit for my company.
Instead, I am adopting it as a project that my company will support into
the future.

All the source code is available in the OpenGEM SDK, and OpenGEM is all
licensed under the GNU GPL.
