Now that's very cool; thanks John!  Shame there's very close to no chance of
me seeing the 256-colour driver in action...  Also good to see references to
some actual camera drivers; the various options for them in Output were
documented in my 1512's handbook but I always wondered what sort of exotic
kit was around at the time.

Anybody know what scanner drivers were written, or indeed what would use
them?  Heinz's page mentions them, but I've never come across an example.
The VDI loads the drivers (ID*.*, starting at device number 61) but I'm not
aware of any VDI functions that might be applicable to a scanner.
