Hello everybody,
hello Shane (I registered myself, thanks for forwarding my message to the
list).

@John Elliott: Am I the one you expected to ask about adapting a GSX driver
for the NCR DMV to work with GEM or might you be talking about a mutual
French co-enthusiast?

Anyway, you wrote:
I think I might be able to guess at who asked you :-)

The answer is no. GEM drivers have a lot more functions than GSX drivers,
so it would be necessary to disassemble the GSX driver and implement all the
extra GEM functions (basically, functions 100 and higher).

I have the original .A86 source for this driver, so disassembly wouldn't be
necessary. I'm not a very proficient programmer, though, so a pointer
towards files that would have to be changed in the GEM screen driver sources
would be great.
BTW, the NCR DMV is another not-quite-IBM-compatible (I think the term was
MS-DOS compatible") that could display 640x400 pixels in 8 colours. And my
favourite vintage machine. ;-)

Thanks for your input, Robert
