I salute you, sir!  That's some nice work; works OK with VMware's VESA
emulation, although not having much luck on real hardware (I suspect this is
more to do with running under Windows, if I could find a floppy disk I'd
boot into DOS).  Shame about the memory requirements for bitmap apps, but
since nothing can yet use anything but the base 16 colours I guess it's not
a huge loss of functionality!
