Hey again,

Found some more bugs in OpenGEM Release 4 Complete.

1. OpenGEM's setup utility offers drivers not found in
GEMAPPS\GEMSYS\SETUP, causing OpenGEM to exit before it starts.
If it helps, I seem to remember most drivers being removed from
OpenGEM R4 before OpenGEM R4U1 came out, where those drivers
were back in the list of choices.

2. Certain programs included with OpenGEM R4U1 freeze up or
reboot the system after you quit them. Some of these programs
complain about missing metafiles before automatically quitting.
These programs include:

FGDOODLE
DICMERGE
WRITE (sometimes, includes double-clicking on a TXT file)
GEMCDP
DRAW
MIDI
EDICON
GRAPH

Other programs, like GEMP3, quit after loading without freezing.
Some of the other programs complain about missing metafiles as
well but don't lock up the system or reboot.

Anyone else get these problems? I am running my GNU/DOS
distribution of FreeDOS, the latest version of which (GNU/DOS
2005) includes OpenGEM R3 with R4U1 offered as an update for
"bleeding edge" GNU/DOS users. EMM386 is not running, as I
mentioned before, R4U1 and FreeDOS EMM386 don't go together
well.

Also, 3. I think the link to OpenGEM R4U1 Experimental on the
web page is simply the update, not the full download.

Thanks,
Dan
