Blair,

As a Pascal developer, the two files

* SAMPLE.PAS
* SCGEM.PAS

from the OpenGEM SDK have been a good starting point. A very careful reading of
AES_ALL.TXT and VDI_ALL.TXT more than once is a great help. The INTRO68K.TXT
file helped me understand GEM resources and the big picture.

These three files are from the DOCS folder in the OpenGEM SDK.

Despite what the AES_ALL.TXT document says at the beginning, I found it easier
to understand GEM programming by reading it before VDI_ALL.TXT.

If you use C, then I would agree that DEMO.C from the Programmers Toolkit is an
essential read and it even made sense to a Pascal programmer.

Here at SMPCS I am developing a GEM flat file Database which is due for release
in the first quarter of 2006.

* If there is an interest in a tutorial in programming GEM from the Pascal
perspective then I would make time to do it once SGMData is complete.
