aft like a car seat does.\u00a0 Instead, the seat is bolted in to place and the rudder pedal assembly is built to move in order to adjust for different sized pilots.<\/p>\n<p>In order to do that in my cockpit, I mounted my rudder pedals on a pair of ball bearing drawer slides laid horizontally.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.simpits.org\/geneb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/rudder_adjust1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-148\" title=\"rudder_adjust1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simpits.org\/geneb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/rudder_adjust1-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"rudder_adjust1\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.simpits.org\/geneb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/rudder_adjust1-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.simpits.org\/geneb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/rudder_adjust1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The drawer slides are a little bit over 12&#8243;
