1) connect your pot to the amp as per pdf. The amp should be as close to the pot as possible to reduce the effects of line noise. 2) connect the amp to the module’s power pins. DO NOT CONNECT the output of the amp to the analog input on the module at this time. 3) Plug in your module. Using a voltmeter for the following steps: 4) move your pot to its max position. Adjust the amp gain so that the output reads ~5V. 5) move your pot to its min position. Adjust the zero offset so that the output reads ~0V. 6) Unplug the module. Connect the amp output to the analog input pin on the module and you're done. Calibrate your axis in windows the way you normally do either through the game controller panel or using Plasma’s hardware based calibration features. NOTE: for best results, use the pot range closest to one end of its mechanical rotation. i.e. if you are using only 20 deg of rotation of the full 270 deg range, set the pot to physically turn from ~0 deg to ~20 deg OR ~250 deg to ~270 deg. One of these ranges will give you the full 0-5V output on the amp whereas the other end will not. This all depends on which pins you have the Vcc and GND connected to on the pot. So if you can't get the full range on one end, either use the other end or swap the Vcc & GND pins on the pot.
