I think a much better solution is to use the pushbutton to toggle between MHz

There's been an on-going thread on mycockpit.org about both the scarcity <br>
and crazy expense of a typical dual-concentric rotary encoder.<br>

I got to thinking about it and made the following suggestion - which I <br>
think folks here could use too.<br>

You could use a regular encoder with a pushbutton in it (like this one: <br>
http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9117) to handle both MHz and kHz fields - <br>
turn for MHz, push down & turn for kHz. A simple tweak in software would

handle the job quite easily.<br>
