I'm thinking of building a circuit, and basically<br>
what I need is this: I have seven LEDs that need to<br>
be lit up in sequential order as a linear pot is<br>
moved. So basically as you slide the pot from one end<br>
to the other, the LED's all light up (only one lit at<br>
any given time) from one end to the other.<br>

Idealy it could be adjusted so each LED lights up at<br>
a specific resistance, as I need it to be a little<br>
non-linear at spots - i.e. I for a couple, the pot<br>
would need to be moved 1/2" to move on to the next<br>
light, then for others it would only need to be moved<br>
a 1/4".<br>

Somewhat confusing, I know... but it seems like it<br>
should be doable. But I'm no EE so I dunno how.<br>
Simpler the better, though. Not looking to sink a<br>
whole lotta money or time into this project.<br>

As to my second question, Gene how thick are those<br>
backlit panels you make? Do you think you could make<br>
one roughly 1/8" thick, or would that be too thin?<br>
