I think the simplest way to get rid of the bezel would be to open
fs9gps.cab, extract all the files to a temp folder.<br>
Modify all the bmp's which start with GPS500, make them black.
<br>
Rename gps500.xml to a name of your choice like SKA200_GPS.xml ;-)<br>
Delete all the files which start with GPS295.<br>
Download the cabdir SDK from Microsoft:<br>

Turn the xml file, plus all the associated graphics into a cab file<br>
Copy it to either your own panel folder (easier to keep track of) or the
main FS9 gauges folder.<br>
Edit your panl.cfg to point to your edited gauge.<br><br>
Voila! GPS without a bezel ;-)<br><br>
