> There are several different sizes of cutters. They are
piloted type cutters
> to make holes for
countersink fasteners. Some of the aviation sites are numbered
> 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. They are in 1/16 inch increments.
Their range can be from
> .098 to .500. The cutter
is chucked in a drill like a drill bit. The "Cage" can
> be rotated up or down to set the depth of the cut. There is a lock
ring that is screwed
> against the cage to lock it
in place. There are marks on the cage and the housing to
> monitor how many increments you have moved. I think they are in
1/32 increments.
>
>
****** You set you depth on a practice piece of material first. The same
thickness
> as your project.********
>
> The best way to check the
depth of the cut is use the fastener you are going to use.
<FONT

deep.
>

Thanks Craig. Are they sold in sets?
