Jay, a rotary switch is a great thing if you're performing a "select"
function, like "OFF","AUTO","NORM","EMERG". A four position rotary switch
would be great for that. However, for something like a radio tuning knob,
you need to have it be a continuously rotating device. Rotating on
direction changes the frequency up, the other changes it down. There are
so many frequencies, a fixed position rotary switch wouldn't do the job.

That meens numbers from 0 - 9! You need for freq. mostliy numbers from 0 - 9999,
1st = 1000, 2nd = 100, 3rd = 10, 4th = 1!
Therefor You need four switches in line - mounted in Line in a rack, with showing
the rastered number!
At last one switch to fix the number whitch ist ready to use an send the number!

That issue has some other things to consider. The first one is the effect of altitude on the two aircraft. Above about 30k feet is where the Eagle really starts having the advantage. It's superior BVR package comes into play with its better detection range and the ability to fire at multiple targets at once. If there is a merg at high altitudes the Eagle turns better than the F-16. When you start getting lower the F-16 turns better and is harder to see. Of course the other two engined Mac fighter turns even better than the F-16 for those AIM-9M and X snap shots, the F-18 Hornet.
If the F-16 is supported with AWACS and data link systems that helps to make up for the high altitude range detection issue.

That sounds pretty good. I'll set up a spread sheet next week and start posting up in the forums for replies. I think I'll also add if there are individuals that would be willing to use any programming skills to help bring this to fruition.

How should we proceed? We need a form for those to fill, that want to support the integration of a flyable F-16 into LOMAC. This form then gets linked to from all the different forums (Frugals, Simpits, Viperpits, Ubi...).
Anyone willing to set it up?

I'll sign that puppy. Find all kind of people to sign it. If I can have working instruments, MFD's, HUD etc.., bye-bye Falcon, hello LOMAC. Already got me a copy, would love to see them come out with tools for community development to add compaigns, flyable A/C etc. I'm still building a Viper, but can't wait for these LOMAC additions to show up.
