thought you were suggesting that we Australians might find it
offensive, but then a Pom would probably have said, "I'm sorry,
Cobber!" to one of us, and "...Mate!" to a Yank. :-) But we are getting
close to repeating the discussion this group had some years ago about
what a "guy" is...<br>

SHIFT+3 = # on US Keyboards. In Australia, we use US keyboards but
Australian (or UK) English, European date style, metric units and A4
paper. Incidentally, I did find it rather exciting at first, driving at
110 (=70mph) on the A-roads and suddenly being confronted with a sign
saying something like <br>
"<-Nottingham 2". <br>
Six feet is a very short distance in which to make a left turn across
two lanes at that speed...<br>

I don't know when the group first commenced, but I think I joined
around 1998, so maybe you had been born by the time Armand last

deeply GEM conversation about how he might network the computers in his
house, and we may well not have discussed NetBEUI, which might put it

Have you thought of putting a mezzanine in your room? I've thought
about it, here; but think my wife would get suspicious that I was
planning to bring more computers into the house. Isn't it sad that some
people are so untrusting?<br>

yep i know that it takes more than the $ key - wow! i never knew that

that on some of the dell keyboards at school there is a euro
