Formerly Known as Veganalex,
Thomas is a nice bloke, who needs all our support, considering he has a
Tidy Sister; but he is very clearly not Australian. It's always
important to make that distinction. It takes more than a $ sign on the
keyboard to make an Aussie. Incidentally, Thomas, the £ (Pound) sign is
obtained by typing ALT+0163 using the numeric keypad -- unless you are
using a UK keyboard. We used to use Australian Pounds until 1966.

As far as I am aware, the only Australians in this group are Chris
Dostal, Scott McDonald (my "neighbour" -- Marrickville and Newtown run
into each about at the Vic on the Park Pub) and myself. Anyone else
passing him or herself off (where's Freya?) as Australian is a ring-in.

Paul Cull is nearly Australian, being originally from New Zealand. He
says, "Gidday", where I say, "G'day".

There were a few Poms and Scots, but they seem to have moved to the
Benighted States*, so I don't know who is left. Have they copied the
big sign from Aukland and put it at Heathrow: "Will the last person to
leave please ensure that the lights are turned off"?

There are the Germans, whose names generally give them away, a couple
of Frenchmen, and the solitary Dutch contributor, Armand Colleye -- but
he may well have last contributed before you were born.

Anyone else had better put his hand up and tell us.

Cheers,
don't bother posting it mate - well...i'm not atall sure about the

conversion rates - but i know its above half and below 3/4 so...im not
sure - i'll work it out properly sometime.

right - if i bought one off ebay it would have to be uk based because
it wouldnt be worth inporting tbh. ahhh i thought you were from aus
dude :~P and also it wouldnt be v.a.t ontop of it because thats only
new purchases - it would be the cost of the package to me(which would
be nil if you were to send(dont think p&p included)...which your
not
going to) - so therefore i don't think there would be any tax
atall...i hope - there would probably be a 4quid charge by royal mail
or something though...but it doesnt really matter because i dont
really want it tbh :~P - im not that into this whole thing! lol
right im off to bed now...its late so night everyone!

It's 100 US$ - PURE guess! I find it noteworthy that you equate
that to 60 Great Britain Pounds (GPB) whcih is what I thought the
pseudo-L meant. [Where does he find that on a keyboard??? ;-( ]
Are you sure of the conversion rate? (ballpark / football pitch is
close enough!)

Anyway, I'll actually get a TRUE (US Postal) shipping cost if you
give me A REAL (if only an approximate - like Westminster
Cathedral) UK address for the postal service to 'punch in' to their
terminal.

BTW, N.W. suburb of Chicago, IL, USA for me. Find Chicago. Find
O'hare Airport NW of center of city. I'm in far NW corner of Des
Plaines just North of O'hare.

Why would an e-bay item (US-based) be cheaper? - or would it be a
UK-based one you're talking about?

Lastly, IF .. I DO something crazy .. and post it to you;

THEN you'll pay ANY V.A.Tax - since I haven't the FOGGIEST of

ideas of what that would be.
