[Second Posting. First one "bounced back" - some weeks ago!.]

M.

A _slightly_ wrong URL keeps one from arriving at their destination! :-(

http://www.alloy.com.au/web_download/OLD/REAL32/7.5X/

_should_ get one 'there'. (The "www." were missing.)

The readme.txt says:
"
R32DEMO.ZIP     Real/32 Demo Diskette
IMSD.EXE        Diagnostic Program for REAL/32 - Supplies Tech information.
ZAPSFIX.TXT     Lists details of Zaps.
TECHTIP.TXT     Lists of Technical Tips.
INTMULTI.ZIP    Alloy driver for HCS PC-Com Cards.
R32UP754.ZIP    Upgrade from REAL/32 v7.5x to v7.54
R32SDK.ZIP      REAL/32 Software Developers Kit -- NEW JAN 1997!
"

Also, I browsed through the Sieman's stuff and, while not as interesting as your original find, I liked seeing what else - related - they had still posted. Apparently, "80286"es in some of the systems replaced earlier "80(0)86"es, which in turn were replaced by "80388"s. They were little "clamshell" portables for programming ?EEPROM's? or you could use a PC.

FlexOS (did that REALLY originate from DRi ? YES! ) was/is a 16bit (?) protected mode OS.

The two versionS of software spoken about; in the (several) articles I read; are Single Tasking (ST) and Multi-Tasking (MT). The ST was/is DOS. the MT was/is a DOS partition AND a FlexOS partition that could run X/GEM and those GEM applications mentioned on that page.

The database would be 'neat' to have a look at. I wonder who I would have to write to / contact (within Seiman's) to TRY to GET a copy? (My German is non-existent.)

Thanks for the Ref.s,!

Thomas Clayton
