[GEM Development] Hello

Hallooo! I forget when I subscribed to this list, except I'm sure it was
one of many times when I got really fed up with all available window
managers and desktops. I quickly got distracted from GEM, hence never
posted, and generally forgot about it until these "hellos". :) Lately
I've been thinking about coding a window system similar to Plan 9's for
my linux boxes, but Plan 9's window system doesn't offer half what GEM
does.
